Clinical focus
I love all aspects of general practice — the variety is what drew me to it and what keeps me engaged every day. I have a particular passion for working with young people and am committed to providing inclusive, affirming care for LGBTQIA+ patients and their families.
I have completed additional training in paediatrics through the Sydney Child Health Program, and I work as a GP at a local specialist school one day a month — a role I find deeply rewarding. Seeing young people thrive, especially those who face extra challenges, is one of the highlights of my week.
I am also a GP tutor at Monash University and regularly welcome medical students into my consulting rooms. Teaching is something I genuinely love. There's something special about being part of the next generation of doctors finding their feet, and I learn as much from my students as I hope they learn from me.
Beyond the clinic
Away from work, I'm kept very busy by my three boys — so I know first-hand that family life is equal parts wonderfully rewarding and wonderfully chaotic. It gives me a genuine appreciation for the realities my patients with young families navigate every day.
I'm a sports lover, and when things slow down a little you'll find me with friends around a table — board games and puzzles are my idea of a perfect evening.
